FORTY'S AT FRYERNING

Gurmingtrude is now 42lb, her weight gain last year was 5lb,
being one of the 50 carp brought from fish farmer Mr Mark
Simmonds some twelve years ago, their weight at the time
was around 6lb.

We now believe there are several uncaught 40's on site. The
Nun, one of gurms sisters has increased in weight from 26.5lb
to 37.2lb in 18 months, she was caught on the 10.05.07
(see catch report). Another possible 40 is Charlie an old
original Fryerning fish, long and lean, caught at 39.4lb on the
23.10.07, also caught on the 31.08.07, weighing 37.4lb is The
Mommon another slow growing Fryerning fish. Other upper
30's include The Netted fish, The Pig, The Dalmation, Split Tail,
The Peach, Fourscale, The Rudder, Sixpack, Luk's Common the list goes on.
